Oh happy day !
I have been in contact with the producers of Edgar Rice Burroughs " Pirates of Venus" for over a year. Recently my my artwork has been accepted as part of the upcoming Pirates of Venus
live action movie. That means it is being use as early promo and concept work. The full book of art
I sent them ( and printed through apple's iPhoto ) seemed to do the trick. - Jeff

Hello. I'm checking you out through Christopher Mill's blog. I'm a huge fan of the sword and planet/interplanetary adventure genre and have written three novels in the genre myself, Swords of Talera, Wings Over Talera, and Witch of Talera. You're Fire Gods of Venus sounds excellent and I will certainly pick up a copy once it is released.

Congrats on all the illustrations you've been doing for Burroughs related works, as well. I'm going to check out the rest of your blog and links now.

Best,

Thanks man - didn't realize Chris has something up. I'll have to do the return thing. I've seen your books around, and I recognize your photo - are you on my John Carter of Mars myspace site - Jeff

No, I'm not on myspace. I post a fair amount over on the SF Reader forum, and a couple other forums. And on a lot of blogs. I'll have to check out your myspace page.

I figured out where I saw you, I've got a google search on 'john carter of mars' which you mentioned in recent post.
I enjoyed your post on Kate Wilhelm's critique. It makes me think of Michael Chabon's intro to his McSweeney of pulp fiction. His point was that plot/events are valid and modern literature has thrown it all out with the bath, making everything all painfully the same. He used the analogy of all fiction being forced to adhere to the structure of 'the nurse novel.'
